Desktop Password Reset

I got locked out of Desktop version QuickBooks 2018 after the system forced me to reset password.

I logged into my account on line to verify the credentails.  

Am not able to reset the password manually or with the Automated password reset tools as the system does not recognize a Phone number I am putting into the dialog box. I am looking at my profile on liune and copying as is, and the system says " wrong phone number"   Need some help reseting password

The Automated password reset tool should help you with your password issue. Since you're still unable to reset it, I suggest getting in touch with our QuickBooks Customer Care support for an agent to help you reset your password. Here's how:

  1. In QuickBooks, click Help.
  2. Choose QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  3. In the Have a Question? window, click Contact us.
  4. On the Contact Us page, click Solving Issues & Error messages, then choose Password Management.
  5. Click Start a Message.

  1. Go to: https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact.
  2. Select QuickBooks Desktop under Which QuickBooks do you need help with?.
  3. Click on Continue as guest under Stop! Open QuickBooks to contact us page.
  4. Select your version, under Select your QuickBooks Desktop version.
  5. Search for your concern under What can we help you with?.
  6. Click on Start a Message under Here's how to connect with a QuickBooks expert about "Change ...".
