I logged on to my QB self employed account and all my data is gone with exception of 1 single invoice out of MANY! Entire company file seems to be gone!

the program was recently updated and changed all my formatting and saved invoice templates. Now this. Sooooo frustrating! I need to complete my billing asap.

Hi there, @Studiomama. I can see the importance of having your data back.

Missing invoices is currently an ongoing issue in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). And our engineering team are actively working to fix this for you. While we're working on this, it would be best to get in touch with our Customer Care Team. They can add you to the list of affected users.

To reach them, click the  Assistant button at the top-right corner and enter your concern in the search icon at the bottom. Ensure to review their support hours to know when agents are available.

When we have more information about the status of this issue, we will update you. We will send the updates to your email address associated with your Intuit account.

Thanks for your patience as we continue working toward a resolution. Don’t hesitate to reach back out if you need anything else. I’m always here to help.

I had an issue seeing my invoices on my iPhone and web as well, but I deleted the app and I’m now able to see them again. However, the information is all out of order, doesn’t look anything like it did before and my company info will not show up on the invoice - including my logo, even though it used too. Hopefully this gets resolved soon as I’ve been fielding non stop phone calls from customers with invoice issues and not getting as much actual work done.

I understand the urgency of getting this issue resolved, as this caused an inconvenience and interruptions to your work, wcotyjr.

Missing information is usually a result of too much accumulated historical data. Whenever you visit a website, it saves some information from the web page in its cache and cookies. These files allow the websites you visit most often to load faster. Not to worry, clearing them will do the trick.

First, let's try accessing your account through an incognito window to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue. You can refer to these shortcut keys to open an incognito window in all supported browsers:

  • Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Shift + N

If it works, switch back to your regular browser. Then, clear its cache. This way, you can access QuickBooks with a clean slate. You can also use a different supported one.

Let's also try resetting the app data to clear the cache and refresh it into its default state. Before doing so, let's ensure that your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) mobile app is updated as well as your phone's OS. It helps your application work continuously without interruptions.

To clear the app's cache files, here's how:

For iOS:

  1. Go to Help & Feedback at the top menu bar.
  2. Select Reset App Data. Then, click Refresh.

For Android devices:

  1. Go to the More Options  menu.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Tap Refresh Data, and then click Yes.

After that, check your invoices again. If you're experiencing the same result, you'll want to uninstall and then re-install the QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) application.

Let me know if you have follow-up questions or concerns with invoices. I'm here to assist you and ensure your experience with our app is smooth and hassle-free. Take care and stay safe.

My customer phone numbers and addresses are missing, along with my company logo on invoices. One of the effects is some of my invoices the customer email address has magically been combined with the customer name and cannot be changed.

This has been happening for weeks now and quickbooks has absolutely no resolution or any need to fess up that they have lost all my customer data.

I cannot invoice, i cannot  even send reminders for past due invoices.

Quickbooks has destroyed my business.

Oh there's tickets open and engineers are "working on it", it's pretty apparent that that quickbooks engineers have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA what they are doing.

I have the same thing, my situation has been escalated to "the office of the president" and again I am getting ZERO responses! Quickbooks is absolutely f*cking us over!

Did this ever get resolved? I'm still missing data AND to top off they raised their prices. I'm looking into other options. Intuit refused my refund.

Hello there, @goneCoastal. Since the QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) mobile app is no longer offered for new downloads or new subscribers, your new phone is likely redirecting you to the newer QuickBooks Solopreneur platform.

To access your QuickBooks Self-Employed account, log in through the official website using a web browser. If you still have your previous mobile device, you can continue using the QBSE app already installed on it.

You’re welcome to reach out anytime if you have further questions or concerns. We’re always here.
