Based on your scenario, it seems like you keep refreshing your TD Bank connection by manually updating it. But it won't download transactions on your end.

 

With this, we've been receiving similar reports about TD Bank connection errors and missing transactions in QBO. I wish you didn't have to go through all this. Please know that our engineers are working to find the root cause of the issue and fix it. I recommend contacting QuickBooks Online Support to be added to the list of affected users. 

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company. Click Help (?).
  2. Choose either tab to get started: Assistant or Talk to a human.
  3. Search Contact Us.
  4. Start a chat with a support expert.

 

You can contact us from Mondays to Fridays, 6 AM to 6 PM PT and Saturday 6 AM to 3 PM PT.

 

In the meantime, you can consider uploading your transactions manually. Please refer to this article to know how: Manually Upload Transactions into QuickBooks Online.

When attempting to "Talk to a human" I received this reply:  "Unfortunately, our help channels are currently closed." Jeez!, really? Quickbooks???

I know this hasn't been easy, @Fotoho2.

I'll make sure to help you with this.

I recommend manually updating your bank on the Banking page to refresh the connection between QuickBooks and your bank.
 

Beforehand, let's log in first to your bank's website and answer all OTP authentication prompts. Once done, you can refresh the account and update your login information and transactions. 

Here's how you can update your login information:
 

1. Go to Banking.
2. Click Update.

3. Type your updated username and password in one of the following ways:
         - If Error 103 appears, select the Reconnect my account link and then enter your credentials.
         - If no error message, click Edit and then choose Edit sign-in info.
4. Save and Connect.
5. Once the confirmation message is shown, click on I'm done, Let's go!

 

Whenever you're still unable to update the data, I recommend doing basic troubleshooting steps. This might be caused by browser-related issues. 

Let's log in to your account thru a private window. 

Here are the keyboard shortcuts: 

 

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N 
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + P

Otherwise, let's clear the cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online in your browser.

This has been going on for years and still isn’t resolved. Will there ever be a resolution to not being able to keep TD bank accounts connected?

 

You guys increase the subscription cost constantly and add more features and changes then Apple but never fix the problems that matter

  2. Select the blue tile for your linked account.

After that, sign in to your financial institution's website to check your account for messages or alerts that need your attention. Once you make changes on the page (for example, login credentials and account info), update QuickBooks as well. Here's how: 

 

  1. Go to the Banking or Transactions menu.
  2. Select the blue tile for your linked bank account.
  3. Click the Edit icon.

If this matter continues, you can download your missing transactions manually and import them into QuickBooks.
