Join nowLet me help you fix your reconciliation discrepancy in QuickBooks Online, @sarah133.
Editing the transactions can cause a discrepancy in your previous reconciliation. If you already reconciled the account, you'll need to undo all the transactions that were reconciled and manually check each transaction for changes made.
Since we don't currently have an option to review which transaction was manually reconciled, please undo the entire reconciliation. To do this, you must edit each transaction.
Let me show you how:
7. Once done, click Save.
Once done, please check your register if there is still a reconciled transaction. In most cases, that's the reason for the difference amount. If it's a duplicate transaction, then you can delete it.
Otherwise, you can run your bank account report to see all the transactions.
Lastly, reconcile your account again.
Don't hesitate to comment down below if you have other concerns. I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Have a nice day.

Looking forward to your reply. Have a pleasant day ahead!
I have a client that somehow has 2 Reconcilation Discrepancies accounts. Is there a way for me to merge or remove one? The system is not letting me, because both accounts are used for reconciling. I tried renaming and recategoring one of them, but I could not to that either.
Thanks for chiming in the thread, @nmacleod.
Right now, the option to delete or merge the reconciliation reports is unavailable. Alternatively, we can manually undo each transaction in that reconciliation report.
Here’s how:
To learn more details about unreconciling and removing an individual transaction from a completed reconciliation, you can refer to this article: Undo and remove transactions from reconciliations in QuickBooks Online.
Additionally, you can seek help from your accountant and get your reconciliation undone. If you already have an accountant added to your account, he/she can undo your reconciliation for you.
Let me know how it goes by leaving a comment on this thread. I'd be glad to answer if you have any follow-up questions or concerns. As always, we're here to ensure that you'll get the help you need.
