How do I print on wallet checks?

Hello edgreenacre,

The option to print checks on a wallet-size isn't available. Rest assured, I'll take note of this idea.

As a workaround, you can print checks on regular size. I'll show you how:

  1. From the + New button, select Print checks.
  2. Select the type of checks you want.
  3. Review and print a sample check.
  4. Select either No, continue setup or Yes, I'm finished with setup.

I've also added this guide for more information when printing checks: Troubleshoot printing paychecks.

I'm just around if there's anything that I can help. Stay safe!

"Rest assured, I'll take note of this idea."

There are questions about this issue going back three years. Any progress?

How about a big red warning somewhere telling businesses that they will only be able to use one of .... two check formats if they switch to online? I wish i had known in advance so my company could have been prepared for the extra time and expense involved in getting new checks.

Very disappointing ....

How do I print on wallet checks?

We just switched from QB Desktop to QB Online. Disappointed that more than 3 years after this discussion, it still hasn't been added to QB Online. As stated by others, it would have been nice to know at the beginning of the transition to have supplies on hand. Feels like QB Desktop was very open and customizable and QB Online is "Our way or the Highway."

I understand how you want for QuickBooks Online (QBO) to have the flexibility feature like QuickBooks Desktop. Let me guide you on what to do, Makts13.

You'll want send feedback to let our Product Team know how this option is needed for your business. To do so, you can follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Go to the Gear icon, then Feedback.
  2. Enter your comments or product suggestions. Then select Next to submit feedback.

This request goes to our Product Development team to help improve your experience in QuickBooks Online. You can also track feature requests through the QuickBooks Online Feature Requests website.

Additionally, QuickBooks offers a variety of expense reports that caters your business needs. You'll have to make sure to customize them to ensure you'll get the right data. Customize Reports In QuickBooks Online.

THIS IS ABSURD. Just so Intuit can get people to order more checks. Complete scam. I'm dumping quickbooks.

This is unbelievable!  WTF is wrong with Intuit.
Like the other person, this is the last straw.  You all have made a mess of ACH payments too.
Good bye

I see that intuit is completely ignoring the need of small businesses who had to change from desktop Enterprise to online the ongoing issue of printing wallet size checks. Which I have been doing for 29 years with QB desktop Enterprise. Very frustrating for a long time customer that QB has ignored this for so many years. It is a simple request that Intuit already offers. Just offer a third choice for printing checks. If I had know how incompetent and unresponsive QB online support is I would not have upgraded to online. Your arrogance is duly noted.

RE: If I had know how incompetent and unresponsive QB online support is I would not have upgraded to online.

Well stated. But I can make it better:

If I had know how incompetent and unresponsive QB online is I would not have downgraded to online.

-------------------

QuickBooks Online is woefully inadequate when compared to QuickBooks Desktop. Even its name is dated and stupid. Reminds me of America Online.

Intuit has been working on QuickBooks Online for 26 years. If they had wanted to, they could have built an actually-reasonable replacement for QuickBooks Desktop. But they don't want to. What they want is what you're experiencing. If they wanted it to not suck, then it wouldn't suck.
