Does anyone have issues with a QB Enterprise reports exporting to excel

Why did QB's Enterprise all of a sudden stop export reports to excel??  I count on that feature quite often, now I can only do a comma separated value file (csv) and that is a pain to convert and move around items as I need.  Will this issue ever be fixed?

    1. Go to Help and select Update QuickBooks Desktop.
    2. Select Update Now, then Get Updates.
    3. Close and reopen your account to install the update again.

     

    After that, we can verify whether you meet the system requirements for optimal performance. This will ensure that your setup is compatible and functioning as intended.

    The comment made to update my Microsoft Office is not the solution as my IT company updates every night.  This feature stopped working a few UPDATES ago.  One update and it just stopped working.  I really think this is not a Microsoft issue.  And I wish it would work again because I really used this feature alot.  I feel this is an issue with QB's because after one of the updates, can't remember which, that feature stopped working.  I think there needs to be a fix in QB's, not Microsoft.

    Mine won't even convert it to xls file, it creates a "comma separated value, csv" file.  Then I have to go in a manipulate it.  It just won't work and I CANNOT get QB's to understand and they can't figure it out.

    Will your QB's export a smaller file to excel without it being a .csv file??  I don't understand why QB's can't figure this issue out and fix it.

    The 32,769-row limit when exporting to Excel is a significant issue, especially for large datasets like your General Ledger, cstocker. To work around this, try exporting your General Ledger in smaller segments, such as quarterly or monthly chunks, instead of the entire year. This way, each export will have fewer rows and stay within the limit.

     

    On the other hand, when exporting the report in QBDT, there's another option besides a CSV file. Let me help you export your reports directly to Excel, cwelch61.

     

    Here's how:

     

    1. When running the report, click Export.
    2. Click the dropdown button on either, Print, Email, or Excel.
    3. When you click print, the report will be saved as a PDF file.
    4. When you click Email, you'll have the report sent in Excel and PDF.
    5. Then, for Excel, you'll have a saved copy as a CSV file.
