Question

Since the latest update, the "Save" button (or "Save & Close" / "Save & Send") keeps defaulting (every time) to "Save & Send" - I want it to stay as "Save & Close!

Greetings, @zac3.

I see this is your first question so let me take the time to welcome you here to the Community. I'm here to share some information about the default Save option in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

We haven't received any reports similar to this. Just to clarify, may I know what QBO version you're currently using? In the meantime, you can manually change the Save option when creating a transaction. Here's how:

1. Go to the Plus icon and select a transaction type (i.e invoice, estimate, etc).
2. Enter the necessary information.
3. Click the drop-down menu next to the Save and send button, then select Save and close.

The next time you create the transaction, the Save and close will be the default option.

That should do the trick. Please let me know how it goes or if you have any follow-up questions so I can get back to you. I'm looking forward to your response. Take care and have a great rest of the day!
