Did you encounter an error message while linking your PayPal account to QuickBooks? Sharing the specific message will help us provide the right solution. If not, please ensure you are using a primary business account with the main login credentials that are not already linked to another user or via a different QuickBooks Online app.
However, if you’re using a business account, you can follow the steps below on how to connect PayPal in QuickBooks:
Sign in to QuickBooks Online, select + Create.
Select Invoice.
Select Accept card payments with PayPal.
Select Launch PayPal.
Sign in and follow the prompts to grant QuickBooks permission to connect to PayPal.
Select Go back to QuickBooks Online.
Check the account names and fee categories to make sure they’re correct.
If you've already tried these steps and still run into issues, try accessing your account in a private/incognito window using a supported browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari) for full compatibility.
Feel free to return to this conversation if you have follow-up questions. We’re here to assist you.
