Every transaction you make, like invoices, depends on your transaction currency. This means that if the invoice you create is in USD, the tax details calculated on it will also display in USD.
To issue invoices in USD when your primary currency is AED, you must enable Multicurrency in QuickBooks. Please keep in mind that once Multicurrency is turned on, it cannot be turned off.
Since QuickBooks cannot automatically convert USD tax to AED on customer invoice templates, I recommend selecting AED from your default invoice Rates dropdown. If it isn't listed, you can easily set up a custom rate for AED.
