Are you referring on adding your old bank transactions, tineeagle?

QuickBooks Self-Employed downloads 30 to 90 days of past transactions. If you want to import older ones, you'll want to download them first on your bank;s website. Then, import it in QBSE.

Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your bank’s website.
  2. Follow your bank’s steps to download your transactions as a CSV file. This is usually a button or link on your account page.

To import:

  1. Go to the Profile icon and select Imports.
  2. Select Import transactions.
  3. Follow the onscreen steps to upload the CSV file.
  4. Select Import.

Check this article for more information: Add older transactions to QuickBooks Self-Employed. Make sure to categorize your transactions correctly.

I'll be right here if you have other questions. I'll make sure to answer them for you.

MaryLurleenM, thank you for your response and gracious offer to answer questions.  I do have another question for clarification- do I input the transactions in QB first and then import from the bank?
