This isn’t what I want you to experience when you update and open the desktop program. Let’s end all the components required to run QuickBooks from the task manager and then suppress the application. I'm here to ensure you can carry out the troubleshooting steps in just a few clicks.

Sometimes the software does not start because qbw32.exe is running in the background. You'll have to end the QuickBooks processes one by one to fix the issue. 

Before proceeding, make sure that your QuickBooks is up to date to apply the critical fixes and get the latest features. Once done, follow the steps below to remove all the components.

Here's how:

1. Click your mouse on the taskbar and select Task Manager.
2. In the Task Manager window, head to the Processes tab.
3. Tap the Name header to arrange the results alphabetically.
4. Click on the End Process button and search for the “QBW32.exe” file.
5. Press the End Process button.

These steps ensure your QuickBooks will open smoothly and show again in the taskbar, Nonee.
