How to start a demo company from the beginning?
Our USD bank account has only 25-30 transactions for the last fiscal year. Our balance sheet in home currency for that period for that account is out by a significant margin from what the bank register is reporting: the balance sheet shows more funds than are in the account for the end of the period. So at first I conclude that a transaction is missing. Yet there are the same number of transactions in each report. The account has been reconciled. In an Excel I can put each transaction next to the other from each report and see how the home currency amount goes sideways with what appears to be large discrepancies in the exchange rate. But the exchange rates are all within a normal range in QBO. How can I do a deeper dive to find what is throwing off the balance sheet? The transaction types for this account are transfers to our other connected bank account in home currency, transfers to a pre-paid USD charge card which is essentially being treated as a bank account (for which I have conf
Hello, I have a "Due To / From Shareholder" to track expense purchases made from personal credit card.On occasion, e-transfers may be paid out of the business account to reimburse for expenses that were paidfrom personal funds. I am looking for guidance in reconciling these (expenses & e-transfer reimbursements) properly in QBO. I want to have the ability to easily see what is owed / owing to shareholder. Thanks for your time

In the Audit History 2025, there is a column named "Taxable" that just says "Yes" or "No" that is between "Class" and "Billable". 1- What is the logic for lines with transaction when we see for the Taxable column "Yes" and "No"? Also for these scenarios :a) For the same supplier but on different bills that has taxes, why sometimes its "No", and sometimes its "Yes" for the same kind of transaction ?b) Within the same bills for a taxable supplier, there is a Yes for one line and then a No for another lines when both have amounts that should be taxable. Why?c) For the same bill, sometimes we see a No and when we have imported some data to overwrites it as a Yes. Why? 2- What does it do in the back end, the "Yes" and "No" for the taxable line? Thank you

I completed the steps as found in a QBO Support article - changed company type to nonprofit, and updated customer label to donors. It said the report vocabulary should change accordingly, but it is still showing for-profit reporting.

Part of the investment fund has been sold and the proceeds deposited into the bank account.
Merci!
This situation is a total mess. I have no idea how to record the transactions and reconcile the expenses. The owner of the corporation has transferred lump amounts from his corporate bank account to his personal account. He would then pay some of his subcontractors and make credit card payments to cover expenses that had been paid with his credit card.Should I consider every transfer to his personal account as an owner withdrawal and then record the subcontractors and expenses as journal entries paid by the owner? How does that work when trying to claim expenses? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

The A/R Aging Summary Report is run by Customer, but the Detailed report is run by due date. I want to know if the detailed report can be run in the same format as the summary report
