How do you get a response from Support that is meaningful? I have yet to see anyone explain how this new fee system is a benefit to those using Desktop for their accounting process. With increasing fees and no support, why would anyone stay? Not every business wants to be Cloud based and most do not want software spying on them and then charging them for the privilege. And to hold our information hostage if you don't pay? I believe there is a legal term for that. After 20 years of sticking with THIS company, if this is the direction that INTUIT is taking, I will be taking a different direction--after tax season of course. I would hate to be locked out of my own data.

Our goal is to to add options to current features while creating new ones and extending our resources for your business needs. These increases are based on future product development and enhancements, and are only implement when justified. As indicated in your license agreement, pricing and service options are subject to change. In addition, your information and security is something we don't take lightly and you can rest assured your account and data remains safe and secure. You'll continue to have access to your payroll and employee information while subscribed and this information isn't removed or deleted from an outside source and access remains limited to specific users on the account.

It is the access I will require if I choose to stop subscribing that concerns me.
I know. They are data hostaging to keep whatever client base they can >:( All you can do is save everything to excel - the GL and all reports.
