Hi,
Is it possible to import a quickbooks data from Quickbooks Enterprise Solutions Desktop Pro version 17 into Quickbooks Desktop for Mac? If it is, can anyone tell me ways on how this can be done?
Appreciate the help.
Thanks,
Carmella
Do you want to migrate from QuickBooks Enterprise 2017 CA version to QuickBooks 2020 for Mac (US version) ?
Yes.
You don't have any choice but to purchase a 3rd party conversion service. I noticed the cost starts from $299 for up to 48 hours turnaround time.
Keep in mind, the following data will NOT be converted from Quickbooks for Windows to Quickbooks for Mac, including (but not necessarily limited to) the following:

Hope it helps.
Thanks for your response. What if I don't plan to migrate, but just need to open a QB file exported from QB for Windows using QB for Mac? Will that still require a third party converter?
Unfortunately both platforms are not compatible to each other. We are only allowed to self-convert between Pro/Premier US and Mac edition. We still need a 3rd party service to downgrade from Enterprise edition to Pro/Premier/Mac, or switch from different countries (e.g CA to US). We will not able to open the data file prior to convert it.
