Bank account connection problems

I have just set up a business account with santander and Quickbooks won’t accept it. I’ve now deleted my personal account thinking that was the problem but it still won’t accept it. All log in details are correct as I can still log in to my business account through the santander website. It getting very frustrating, please help.

What error message do you get when it will not accept the business account? Does this perform the same why if you log on to QuickBooks in a different browser/incognito window?

Bank account connection problems

I have the same issue with the same bank. Getting tired of QB errors, not recognising journeys / calculating mileage, not connecting to bank, can’t adjust for employed and self employed.....


for what it’s worth, I get this message; 


That sign-in info didn’t work.

Sign in to the Santander (UK) site. Then return here and try connecting again. (103)


I know my sign in info works because I logged in and out several times both on Santander website and the app.

Let me clear things up for you.


When searching for your bank that you're trying to add to QuickBooks Online, it'd be best to enter their web address instead of their name.


Here's how:

  1. Click the Banking tab.
  2. On the Banking page, select Add Account.
  3. In the Search field, enter the bank's URL or web address.
  4. Select your bank. If you see many options, you may have to repeat these steps to find the correct one.
  5. Enter your bank login on your bank's website, then select Continue.

That should fix it.
