QuickBooks app iPad

Hello

Anyone else have an issue with the IPAD app? It’s only showing half the screen.

Software bug by any chance?

If you mean in the QBO app then this is a new feature. Intuit seem to think this is what people want.

Personally you'll be best, on an iPad to use the web site rather than the app. At least you get the whole thing instead of a trimmed down version. Trimmed down so much that have forgotten to include half the screen :)

Let's perform some troubleshooting steps so you can view your the whole view through your QuickBooks Online (QBO) app,@Dashlate. I'm here to guide you how.

Here are the possible reasons you're unable to view the full screen using your iPhone or iPad app:

  1. The app's stored data is full.
  2. The app's version is outdated.

First, let's clear your app data. This will refresh the system and remove the older files that cause the app's unusual behavior. There are two places to execute the process. In the app itself and your phone settings.

In the QuickBooks Online app:

  1. Go to the Menu icon.
  2. Select Help & Feedback.
  3. Choose Refresh Data, then select Refresh.

In your iPhone or iPad Settings:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Select Setting General iPhone Storage and choose the QBO app.
  3. Choose Offload App. This will free up the storage without deleting your app's documents and data.

After that, power down and restart your iPhone or iPad. This is to make sure the updates are implemented accordingly.

In case the issue persist after performing the steps above, I'd recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the app. This is to ensure the version you'll be using is the updated one. You can uninstall by tapping and hold the app icon. Then, drag it into the Uninstall trash can at the top of the screen.

Once done, reinstall the app. For the step-by-step guide, kindly refer to this article: Install QuickBooks Online on iPhone. It also includes a reminder about the availability of the app using a specific mobile version.

I'm also adding this article to learn more about the QBO app features available on supported mobile devices: Compare mobile app features. It contains a comparison chart between your iPhone and iPad.

Please let me know if you have other concerns. I'm just around to help. Take care always.
