I signed up for QBO. I read that there was a free 55 minute onboarding call as part of my plan. How do initiate this call? I received emails about bookkeeping services but nothing about a free on-boarding call.

I went to this link last week and setup the onboarding call this morning. When the call started the Intuit rep told me that this was only for UK onboarding. She told me me that she could schedule a call for me with a US onboarding representative. I got the Calendy confirmation for today at 4PM. Then the US onboarding representative cancels the call telling time that I'm not qualified because I'm not a new US customer. I just signed up for the first time! What nonsense. So far I'm not impressed with Intuit/QuickBooks service and support.
i booked the call today at 11 am and it is 11.37 am , no one called me. this is how quick books work?

I understand how you feel about not receiving a callback for the onboarding process. Your concern is totally valid, and we'll take it to management to make our customer service better.
On the other hand, please understand that there are times when clients are unreachable, so the team may send an email stating that they tried to call but couldn't reach you. Please check your email to see if there's a message about this matter.
