Can't contact human

On Monday morning, I tried to connect with an expert because I was facing an issue (a problem that, according to my searches in the community, QuickBooks has been unable to solve for five years). I spent the entire day on my computer but could not get in touch with any expert. For 45 minutes to an hour, I kept receiving an automated message saying:

"Don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten about you. You’re still in line to talk to one of our experts."

Today is Thursday, and I still haven't been able to reach an expert. In the meantime, I've been trying to contact an expert every single day.

I can't even begin to describe how frustrated I am. This is my fourth day of sitting at my computer, trying to connect with an expert. Each time, I wait for an hour, only to be disconnected. I try again, wait for another hour, and it disconnects once more.

I also tried to find an email address to reach out directly, but I couldn't locate one. Has anyone else experienced this issue before?

To ensure you can connect to our support team, log in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account and utilize the Help icon at the upper right corner of your screen. QuickBooks has a unique way to connect with our tech support. Below are the steps you to connect:

In your QBO account, select the Help icon at the upper-right corner of your screen.
Please provide a brief description of your concern.
Select the Search tab, and click Contact Us at the bottom.
You will be prompted to answer "How would you like to connect with us?" Choose one of the available options.
Then fill out your information, and select Get a call.
