Are there custom fields for products?

Good morning, @JayBlake.

At this time, there are no custom fields for products within QuickBooks Online. However, when creating invoices or sales receipts, you can input the information under the Description column. Here's what you will do:

Open your QuickBooks Online account, then select Invoice from the (+) New icon.
Fill in the required details, then select the item/s under the Product/Service column.
Add the code under the Description column.
Save the transaction.

Is there an update to this feature request. I urgently need to add custom fields to the product database that can be included on the purchase order line item detail. I need fields like manufacturer, catalog number, color, etc. as searchable fields for look up when building a PO. Is this under development?

Currently, custom fields can be added to sales transactions, customers, and vendors. However, this feature is not available for products and services at the moment.
