Check Printing Alignment

I've recently converted to QuickBooks Online and am now having check printing issues.  I ran through check alignment to get the amount in the correct place, but now all the other check voucher information is not printing correctly.  If I put the amount in the correct box, the bottom voucher information prints on the top voucher.  I'm not finding a way to align the different areas of the check separately.

I can provide the status of the issue when printing checks, beckyrow.

QuickBooks Online supports multiple browsers, such as Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Microsoft Edge. In general, QuickBooks supports the current and two previous versions of browsers. We don't always support older versions.

Also, if you're using your own checks to print, they need to be formatted for QuickBooks. You can order QuickBooks compatible checks from Intuit to ensure the compatibility of the alignment.

Let me show you how to set up print checks in QuickBooks Online:

Before you start, load some blank paper into your printer for your test prints. That way you won’t waste actual checks if you need to fix the check alignment.

  1. Choose + New.
  2. Tap Print checks.
  3. Click Print setup.
  4. Tab your check type, voucher, or standard.
  5. Select View preview and print sample. Then select Print.
  6. Follow the on-screen steps to finish printing your sample check.
  7. Put the sample print under a blank check. See if they line up correctly.

You can check out this article for more information: Configure your print settings for printing checks

Lastly, I've got some resources that you might need for additional information on how to fix print alignment for preprinted checks in QuickBooks Online.

Let me know if there's anything else you need with QuickBooks. I'm always right here to help you.

I purchased my checks in 2018 or 2019 which were QuickBooks compatible checks.  They always worked with the Desktop version which means the online version isn't following the same print specifications.  If you had read my original post, you would have seen that I already went through the print alignment process.  I aligned the amount field which caused the other aspects of alignment to now print incorrectly.
