Thanks for posting here in the Community today, @CODProTutor347.

I have some information about modifying fonts in QBDT. At the moment, the program uses your Windows settings when changing the font settings. That said, you can modify your font style but it'll also change your Windows font style.

However, you can modify your sales transaction and report fonts by following these steps below.

For invoice:

  1. Open an invoice.
  2. In the invoice page, tap the Formatting tab.
  3. Select Customize Data Layout. Then pick Layout Designer.
  4. Tick the Properties button.
  5. Hit OK, then OK to close out the lay out page.

For reports:

  1. Open a report.
  2. In the report page, go to the Customize button at the top.
  3. Select the Fonts & Numbers tab. Then, tap the Change Font button.
  4. Click OK, then OK when done.

With the above steps, you're able to adjust, underline, and bold the font. Here's how it looks like.

That's not what I am looking for. My client wants to bold just one word and not the entire section.

Hello there, @CODProTutor347.

QuickBooks Desktop uses and depends on the Windows font settings. Currently, we're unable to change the settings that will only apply in one word.

In the meantime, I'd recommend visiting our site to keep you in the loop as to what's new and what's coming: Product and Industry News.

Also, I encourage checking our Help articles page to learn some tips and tricks in managing your QBDT account. From there, you can read great articles that can guide you through the steps by steps process.

Please know that I'm always here if you need anything else. Take care!
