I'm getting the same error. Is QuickBooks working on the solution?
I am having same issue. Never happened to me before that I can recall. Cleared cache. Restarted computer. I love paying for these headaches on a monday morning.
i wish i knew. this is the 2nd time this has happened in a few months.
They keep making changes to the format and i swear it is causing the issues.
I just tweeted at them about it.

Yes, I'm getting the same error code.
I've tried restarting my computer and logging in with Chrome, Edge and Explorer. The same "504 Gateway Time-Out" message shows up each time. I've been trying for about 35 minutes now.
I think QBO must be down.

PROBLEM SOLVED!
I found a workaround I went to:
https://quickbooks.intuit.com/login/
In the middle of the page I clicked on LIVE Bookkeeping and then signed in this way and I have been able to work the last 20 minutes.
Maybe give it a try.

Yes - we need this NOT to happen again!! My entire staff has been sitting around with nothing to do for hours!! This has to stop or another company will come in and take over that does not have these issues CONSTANTLY.
