Question

Is there a delay with July subscription invoice?

Just noticed I haven't been billed by Intuit for our July subscriptions. Normally happens on the 8th of the month. Is there an issue with July subs billing, e.g. changes to payroll per-employee charging?

There are no changes to the payroll per-employee charging. To check on your delayed July subscription invoice, I recommend contacting our Live Support Team. They have the necessary tools to review your account and guide you on the next steps.

I think you are wrong. I had an email from you in May that stated the following:

“Core: Core Payroll will remain a part of the new QuickBooks Payroll lineup. Core subscriptions purchased before 24 November 2025 will transition to the new active employee fee billing structure from July 2026. There will be a change in how the per employee monthly fee will be billed. Fees will be based on how the per employee fee is billed on active employees at the start of your billing month, as opposed to the number of employees payroll was run for during the month as it is now. You will need to mark employees as active or not on payroll and will be billed at the start of each month accordingly.”

Anyway, I contacted the Support Team and they didn’t know any more than me, so I suppose I will wait for the direct debit day to come and be surprised one way or the other!
