Can I remove QuickBooks Capital advertisement?

    You can do so, @a beautiful yard!

     

    You can remove the Capital advertisement by turning off the Turn off pop-up messages for products and services feature. I'm here to help you accomplish this.

    1. Go to Edit.
    2. Select Preferences.
    3. Click General.
    4. Select My Preferences.
    5. Remove the checkmark on Turn off pop-up messages for products and services to turn it off.

    I have turned on the block pop ups however that box is still there.  I can't see the bottom of my pages such as receive payment page.  The memo box and close box is no longer available.  I can't scroll down or move it to view the bottom. 

     

    This Happened as of the last update which I did on 11/24/19.

      Hello there, @bluethirst.

       

      If you're referring to the add banner that's showing up when receiving payments, the option to remove this is currently unavailable.

       

      This issue impacts the software with large scaling and resolutions that are borderline meeting system requirements.

       

      Please check the display settings to ensure it meets the minimum requirements. 

       

      You can also force it to full screen view with this button which will allow the buttons to show every time.

       

      This situation has been assessed by our developers already. They are now working to improve the product and provide you the best customer experience.

       

      To stay current with our latest news and updates, I encourage you to visit the New Feature section on your QuickBooks Desktop.

       

      To do that:

      1. Click on Help at the top menu bar.
      2. Select on New Features.
      3. Choose New Feature Tour.

      I cannot make it go away either. Very annoying.
