Hello Tim192, thanks for contacting the QuickBooks Community. We're sorry to hear you are having difficulty with the save and share on the invoice. Can you try going to the sales tab on the left menu > go to Invoices > find the invoice and click it (not the drop-down arrow) > then More actions to share the link.

If you get the same issue, can you try temporarily turning off pop up blockers in your browser. Then try again on the save and share link in QuickBooks. If the page does, then generate let us know. Thanks

I've had the same problem, you shouldn't have to come out of the invoice to then save it, it interrupts with the flow of working.

I see how vital it is for users to reach the payment page after they click the Save and share link button, as this will undoubtedly save time for the business and improve the working experience, kentglasssolutions. Allow me to provide some insight into this matter and share a solution to help get you back to business.

When creating an invoice and selecting the Save and share link option (Invoice screen), the system saves the entry and generates a shareable link. Please note that the payment page will not be automatically displayed, as this is working as designed.

With QuickBooks Online (QBO) connected to the PayPal app, you'll have to create a unique PayPal link for your invoices. Customers will use this link in the invoice email to complete their payments. For detailed instructions, perform Steps 3 and 4 in this article: Accept Card Payments with PayPal app in QuickBooks Online.
