I understand the urgency to get your contractors set up in QuickBooks. At the moment, there's an ongoing investigation for contractors unable to complete sign-up and get in the W-9 from Contractor Invite.
At this point, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care team to let them know that you also received the same error.
Here's how:
- After you Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company, go to the Help (?) menu.
- Select Assistant to get quick, personalized answers, and then enter your concern.
- Click still want to Talk to a human, then select Contact Us and choose a way to connect with us:
- Start a chat with a support expert.
- Get a callback from the next available expert.
You can provide this case investigation number for easy tracking: INV-80342. You'll receive an update about its progress via email once you're added to the list.
