QB 2024 Client Ready Reports

Is anyone having an issue with the client ready reports?

 

I get an error message that says:

"Can't exit design mode because Control 'ComboBox1' can not be created"

 

Anyone have a fix for this?

We haven’t received any issues with Client Ready Reports, @RTO. However, the error "Can't exit design mode because Control 'ComboBox1' cannot be created" in QuickBooks Desktop 2024 (QBDT) can be caused by various factors.

 

Here are a few steps you can follow to resolve the issue:

 

  1. Restart QuickBooks Desktop and make sure you have permission to access the report again.
  2. Ensure your QuickBooks Desktop is running the latest updates by going to Help>Update QuickBooks Desktop.
  3. Run the Rebuild Data Utility under File > Utilities > Rebuild Data to check for potential file issues so the system can cease them.
  4. Check if you're using a supported version of Microsoft Office Excel. If not, you can revert to an earlier version or disable automatic updates to avoid the error. Remember to consult your IT specialist for assistance.

I'll guess this is an issue with your Excel installation. Repairing Office/Excel may fix it. Be sure to restart your computer after the repair.

QB 2024 Client Ready Reports

I don't think rebuilding the data is my problem or will be my fix.  I have multiple clients in QB 2024 and each client is having the same issue.  

My QB is update with payroll updates.  Don't know if the last one messed something up....??  Was working just fine last month.

Any other ideas?

QB 2024 Client Ready Reports

No, I have not tried that.  Excel works fine for everything else.  Even the tax for worksheets.

It is just the specific report:  client ready reports that isn't working.  All else works great!
