Will my QuickBooks debit card work overseas?

I can provide some information about using Quickbooks debit card, @reed-medbillit-c

Yes, it'll work! Your QuickBooks debit card works like other debit cards so you can use it wherever Visa is acceptable- online, in person, or at 19,000 Allpoint ATMs. Also, the QuickBooks debit card is supported on Apple and Google Pay for contactless payments.

For more information about how to locate an AllPoint ATM and ways to use your QuickBooks debit card, check out this article: Use the QuickBooks debit card to get your cash.

Hello there, @Zcoff. I want to ensure everything is clear about the QuickBooks Visa card to get you going.

Please know that you don't need to contact QuickBooks. You can use your QB Visa card in any country. However, there are withdrawal and spending limits for this. When using a QB Visa card, you can withdraw up to $1,000 per day from ATMs, and also you can do $5,000 per calendar month from ATMs.

In case you want to transact from a bank teller, you can do up to $3,000 per calendar month and spend up to $10,000 per day with your QuickBooks debit card.

Will my QuickBooks debit card work overseas?

I’m currently in Portugal and tried using my QB visa to withdraw 200$. It declined at two different ATMs. Need to access my money. What do I do?

Welcome to the Community, Lawgirl123.

There's a few reasons you may experience issues withdrawing funds from your QuickBooks Debit Card:

  • If you've withdrawn $1,000.00 for the day from ATMs, you won't be able to withdraw any more from ATMs until the following day begins.
  • If you've withdrawn $5,000.00 from ATMs for the current month, you'll be unable to withdraw funds from ATMs until the next month begins.
  • If you received a QuickBooks Fraud Alert asking to verify a transaction, you can respond with 'YES' to confirm your transaction, then try again. You also have the options of responding with 'NO' to decline and block your card, or 'STOP' to opt out of future notifications.

The QuickBooks Debit Card can be used at AllPoint ATM locations, which can be found at participating Walgreens, Rite Aid, or CVS stores. You can also withdraw cash from other ATMs, which may incur a withdrawal fee.

You can additionally withdraw funds from bank tellers. Your card can be used to withdraw up to $3,000.00 per calendar month this way.

I've also included a detailed resource about using the QuickBooks Debit Card which may come in handy moving forward: Learn more about QuickBooks Checking

If there's any additional questions, I'm just a post away. Have a lovely day!
