Buy nowGreetings Everyone!
Like you all are likely doing, I'm preparing my P&Ls and Balance Sheets for my CPA. All was going well until I made it to the month of October when reconciling. I couldn't balance because 18 transactions on my bank statement actually never made it to QBO. I did remember having to reconnect my bank to QBO because of my password expired at my bank. I reconnected it and all was well. So I thought.
Now, I can't reconcile until these 18 transactions (all in various categories and dates) are somehow put into m QBO.
Is there a way to do this without having to key each transaction separately as a journal entry? GOD! Help!
Hi there, @surevbu. I'll help you add the missing bank transactions.
When you connect your accounts, it automatically downloads transactions up to a certain date. To enter those 18 old missing transactions, you can manually upload them into QuickBooks Online (QBO). You can download the data from your bank. Then, map the transactions in the following supported formats or file types:
Here's how:
Before you upload it, make sure it's in the correct format. Once done, upload it into QBO.
Here's how:
Once uploaded, review and categorize them. Then, you can reconcile your account to ensure they match. To learn more about the reconciliation workflow in QuickBooks, you can refer to the articles below. It contains complete information to keep your accounts accurate:

Another option, utilize MT Online. It is designed to import into any bank or credit card in QuickBooks Online, so there is no specific setting needed.
