Bank register does not pick up 'reference information' from deposit entry

If your bank is connected online, QuickBooks Online (QBO) only depends on the description provided with your bank.
 

However, if your bank isn't connected, you can set up your bank in QuickBooks. I’ll walk you through on how to connect your bank account in QBO.

Here's how:

1. Go to the Banking menu.
2. Click the Connect account.
3. Enter your bank name.
4. Click Continue and follow the on-screen instruction.
