My bank transactions aren't posting

When you linked your bank account to QuickBooks Self-Employed, the transactions will be downloaded automatically. If the bank is having system maintenance, that will result in a connection issue and the transactions won't be imported. 

Also, you'll want to refresh your banking since it can also help in importing the transactions. Go to the Gear icon, select Bank accounts, and click Refresh all.

If you manually upload them, make sure that the file is in CSV. That's the only supported format in QuickBooks Self-Employed. You can check the detailed steps here: Manually import transactions into QuickBooks Self-Employed.
