Unable to save new bank information

I am using Quickbooks 2018 Pro and somehow my bank information got corrupted.  I tried editing it in the Bank Feed Settings, but every time I try to save it I get kicked out with an unrecoverable error.  On the report error screen I have a code 16574 98852.  This happens whether I try to update and save or disable and save.  Both my bank account number and routing number are incorrect and I can't figure out how to fix them.

I hope you're having a good day so far. Based on the error message you provided, I suggest running a verify and rebuild on your company file. This will allow you to fix any data issues and allow you to change the bank account and routing numbers. The steps below will show you how:

 

Verify Data:

  1. Navigate to the Window tab and choose Close All.
  2. Go to the Utilities tab, click Verify Data.
  3. If you get to a specific error message, you can search the support website, and then proceed to the next steps.

Rebuild Data

  1. Select the File tab and press Rebuild Data.
  2. Back up your company file and save it to start the rebuild process.
  3. Hit OK when you receive the "Rebuild has complete" message appears.

Now you'll be able to edit your bank feed account information without error.
