Has anyone else had on the 941 Worksheet 1 step 2 line 2a(i) fill in an amount that should not be there.  My Client has no employees that were even close to the SS wage limit but there is an amount there.   How do I get rid of it?

Hello there,

Form 941 will automatically populate its data based on the paychecks you've entered into the system. There isn't a need to manually fill it in, and you're unable to override all the amounts. You can read through this article to learn more: How QuickBooks Populates The 941?

Let's download the latest payroll tax table. It provides you the most current and accurate rates and calculations for supported payroll tax forms, such as your 941. Here's how:

  1. Go to Employees from the top menu.
  2. Select Get Payroll Updates.
  3. Check the Download entire payroll update box.
  4. Choose Update.

For more information, view this article: Getting the Latest Payroll Tax Table Update.
