I cannot print my check register on quickbooks 2020

Let's perform some troubleshooting steps so you can print your check register successfully in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

Before we start, please make sure your QBDT is updated to the latest release.

Once updated, let's verify if you can print outside of QuickBooks by using Notepad. This way, we can check if your printer had an issue. Here's how:

1. Open a Notepad.
2. Enter some text and select File, then Print.
3. Select the correct printer and select Print.

If you can print from your Notepad, let's run the Print & PDF Repair Tool from the QuickBooks Tool Hub. This helps fix the printing issue in QBDT.

1. Download and run the QuickBooks Tool Hub.
2. In the QuickBooks Tool Hub, select Program Problems.
3. Click QuickBooks PDF & Print Repair Tool. It will take about a minute to run.

Once done, go back and try to print your check register again to double-check.
