Automating Sales Receipts

QuickBooks has an automation feature.  When you enter a new transaction, the program automatically fills out the form with information you entered in the last transaction of that type for that person. 

Here's how to turn it on:

1. Go to the Edit menu and select Preferences.
2. Look for General in the left-hand side and click on it. Then, proceed to the My Preferences tab.
3. Check the box for Automatically Recall Information.
4. Select Automatically recall last transaction for this name.
5. Click OK.
