I Have Some Questions

Good Day All:

I keep getting a pop up saying my subscription must be renewed. Dire things will happen if I don’t pay it. But it’s been paid.

Also, I tried to check and see if I had an outstanding balance, and all the thing does is spin. Finally, I have my own desktop QuickBooks at home and want my name on it. The boss has hers and her name should be on it. That’s the one with the subscription. So, I saw a tab that says, Want to change the name? And I clicked  on it - and it brought me here. Then, while updating my address, the thing simply shut down on me.

Not a good day for me in QB land. Any ideas? And I thank you for your thoughts.

Since you’ve already paid for your subscription but are still getting renewal prompts, let's sync your license data online to update your status with Intuit's servers. Afterward, make sure QuickBooks Desktop is updated to the latest version so everything runs smoothly, especially when checking your outstanding balance. Here’s how:

  1. Sign in to the Customer Account Management Portal (CAMPs).
  2. Choose QuickBooks Desktop from your products and services list.
  3. Select the details next to your QuickBooks product.
  4. Next to Payment Method, select Edit.
  5. Update your info, and click Save and Close.
  6. Open your QuickBooks Desktop application.
  7. Go to the Help menu at the top, hover over Manage My License, and select Sync License Data Online.

Additionally, CAMPs lets you view your actual balance, update the primary administrator or subscription name, and safely edit your company billing address without triggering an app crash.

Regarding the "Want to change name?" tab you saw, could you let us know which page it appeared on? If changing the address causes the system to shut down, I recommend downloading the latest version of QuickBooks Tool Hub and running Quick Fix my File to resolve underlying software issues without risking your company data. Here’s how:

  1. Open the Tool Hub and select the Company File Issues tab.
  2. Select Quick Fix my File.
  3. Once the process completes, click OK and open QuickBooks Desktop.
