My bank account is connected to quickbooks online. Do I still need to upload receipts for purchases that came out of the bank account or do I only upload the receipts for purchases that were paid cash?

I'd be delighted to address your concern about uploading receipts in QuickBooks Online. 

 

Although you can either upload receipts for purchases from the bank account or receipts for purchases paid in cash, we don't recommend doing them at the same time. Thus, it can cause duplicates in your transactions.

 

There are several ways to add receipts. You can refer to this article and follow whichever procedure you prefer: Upload your receipts to QuickBooks Online.
