It depends what they are and if they really happened.

If they are duplicates, then make sure the matching item is classified correctly and delete the duplicate from the register.

If it's right on the edge of the statement date, then double check your bank website to see if it cleared and it will show up on the next paper statement.

Your bank statement is the final proof of what hit your bank account and what didn't so use that as a guide as to what to do with items left after reconciling.
