A negative balance in QuickBooks Online (QBO) happens when the outflows are greater than the inflows. Are you seeing this negative amount in the bank tile on the Bank transactions page? If so, we can review the account activity to see what caused it.
QuickBooks doesn't deduct money from your bank account, but reflects your recorded transactions. You'll want to review the recent transactions in the bank register to identify the payment, expense, transfer, or other transaction that brought the balance.
Navigate to the Gear icon, then Chart of accounts.
Find the bank account and select View register.
Review the recent transactions and compare them with your actual bank statement to identify the payment, expense, transfer, or other transaction that brought the balance below zero.
On another note, if you're referring to an Intuit or QuickBooks charge that you don't recognize on your actual bank or credit card statement, you can check your billing history or use the charge lookup tool to identify the source. These charges can include subscription fees or service usage.
