Hello,

I want to do an excel graph of daily or weekly or monthly totals of an account over a long period of time such as "all".  Is this possible?

The table that I want QB to produce would look something like this.

                       01-01-2020        01-02-2020        01-03-2020           ....

Account X              $                           $                         $

OR

                            Account X

01-01-2020             $

01-02-2020             $

01-02-2020             $

I'm glad to help customize a report to get the information you need, Finance48.

QuickBooks lets you filter reports depending on your business needs. And, I can provide the steps on how to get an excel graph of daily, weekly, or monthly totals of an account.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Reports menu, then choose the one you need (like Profit and Loss Standard).
  2. Click the Customize Report button, then Display.
  3. Choose a schedule from the Dates drop-down list.
  4. Choose Day from the Display columns by.
  5. Click OK.

I've tried these steps and this is the result.

To view totals of one account:

  1. Go back to the Customize Report button, then Filters.
  2. Choose Account from the Filter section, then specify the account.
  3. Click OK.

Once done, you can export the report to Excel to get a copy of the data. You also have the option to memorize it so you won't have to go through the customization process again.

Feel free to leave a comment below if you need additional information about the report you need. I'm always right here to help.
