Hi @TKrawford.

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community.

To make sure you get the help you need, may I know how you want to manipulate the data in Profit and Loss reports? Are you using a reporting tool to integrate with QuickBooks Online? In addition, are you referring to the column headers or categories used in QuickBooks Online's profit and loss reports?

Moreover, you can utilize our QuickBooks Online test drive to play around the features.

Please click the Reply button and share more details so I can assist you more. Take care, and have great day!

I replied to your post the same day it was posted, but I don't see my reply. I want to export information from the profit and loss reports.  I want to export cash on hand and account receivable information. I've plan to import that into Salesforce. I need to know the mappings to import that information from QuickBooks online.

Hello there, @TKrawford.

I'll make sure you can export the information you need from the profit and loss report in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and complete your task accordingly.

To export the data (Cash on hand and Accounts Receivable information) you need, let's run and customize the Profit and Loss report. Go to the Reports menu's Standard tab to complete this process. Here's how:

  1. Go to Business overview, then select Reports, or go to Reports.
  2. Use the Find report by name search bar to search for the Profit and Loss report.
  3. Select the Profit and Loss report to open its contents.
  4. Click Customize.
  5. Set the Report period.
  6. Go to the Filter section and choose all the Cash on hand and Accounts Receivable accounts in the Distribution Account field.
  7. Select Run report.

Once you're done. select the Export icon above the report's table and choose the Export to Excel option to download your data from QBO. Please see this article for the complete guide: Export your reports to Excel from QuickBooks Online.

Furthermore, you'll want to reach out to the Salesforce support to know the mappings when importing the information you've exported from QBO.

Also, you may want to check out this article as your guide in learning ways to customize (financial) reports that fit your needs: Common custom reports in QuickBooks Online.

If you have further questions or concerns about exporting data from QBO, don't hesitate to drop a comment below. I'm always ready to help. Take care, @TKrawford.
