Hi, I am trying to access my reconciliation reports for 2016 and 2017 but my account history doesn't show prior to 2018... I have been using quickbooks for my business since 2006 where are all my other reports?  Is this because I switched to quickbooks online?

Good morning, pamperedpooch.

Thank you for bringing your question forward here in the Community. I'd be glad to provide some info regarding the reconciliation reports in QuickBooks Online.

Just to make sure I'm on the same page, were you previously using the Desktop version of QuickBooks? If so, and then converted to Online, the reports are a bit different. Specifically speaking about reconciliation reports; those aren't exported during the conversion.

For additional details I recommend checking out the following linked articles:

Please don't hesitate to reach back out if you have any other questions or concerns. I'll be here to lend a hand.

Ok so it sounds like what you're saying is that in order to access these reports I will have to re-download quickbooks desktop version and restore the backup from just before we transitioned?
