Customer satisfaction is our top priority. Let's make sure you'll be able to access the print icon in QuickBooks Online Q, IKS.
Feedback is important because it provides a method of facilitating development. I understand and want to consider that having the option to access the print icon with the new quick report interface is useful for your business. You can send your suggestion to our product team so they can help implement these changes in the upcoming releases. To do so, follow the steps provided below:
Your valuable feedback goes to our Product Development team to help improve your experience in QBO. You can track feature requests through the QuickBooks Online Feature Requests website.
On the other hand, I'll give you a workaround so you can view the Print icon. Click the Switch to classic view button so it'll show an option to print the report. I've added this screenshot for your visual guide:
After you clicked it, you'll be able to view now the Print icon on the report.
Additionally, QuickBooks offers different kinds of reports that cater to your business need. Learn how to filter specific information to show the data you need. I've got this available resource for additional information: Customize Reports In QuickBooks Online.

There is no print icon for my version of quickbooks online. The nearest option is to create a PDF.

Based on your description, it seems like your custom report is in modern view. Currently, the Print icon is not available in this layout. But we can print your report using the built-in keyboard shortcut Ctrl + P or by selecting Export PDF and clicking Print.
We strive to provide our customers with the best possible experience. You can send feedback to our Product Engineering team so they can consider adding the Print icon to the Modern View's interfaces in the following QBO updates.
Let me guide you on how:
Alternatively, we can also recreate your custom report. This time, let's make sure to switch to the classic view first. This way, we'll be able to view the Print icon.
Suppose you want to filter a specific amount and format your report's layout so that the data needed will appear in the right place. You can review this article for reference: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online.
