Buy nowIt is 2026, is there still no way for a user in Quickbooks Desktop Enterprise to change their own password? I need to login as the Admin, they tell me the password they want (security protocol violation right there) and I enter it for them? This can't be true.
QB Desktop was built on legacy programming code and its functionality is increasingly limited compared to newer apps these days. Instead of completely overhauling the program, they decided to introduce a new product (i.e Intuit Enterprise Suite). To reduce your disappointment, perhaps you can consider renewing your license through a reseller and get a discount.

Unfortunately, the admin will still have to log in first in order to change a user's password.
Please feel free to leave some feedback for our Product Developers so they can consider adding this is in the near future. Here's how:

This fails the most basic security protocol tests. The user has to "tell" the Admin the password to enter it. How is this acceptable to any company out there. These days we need complex passwords with SMS verifications and this is what QuickBooks "Enterprise" has for security? Pathetic.
