I accidentally created an accountant’s copy of quickbooks, now it is waiting pending return from accountant. Since it was accidental, I have no intent to give this to an accountant. How do I undue my quickbooks file that is waiting on a return from accountant without transferring my file to an accountant?

To remove an Accountant's Copy restriction in QuickBooks Desktop, navigate to the File menu, select Send Company File, choose Accountant’s Copy, and click Remove Restrictions. Confirm by selecting "Yes, I want to remove the Accountant’s Copy restrictions" and clicking OK to restore full file functionality.

You can follow @SIAB’s recommendation to remove the Accountant's Copy restriction, which will void the copy you accidentally created.
