Spam email?

Hi, Taylor. Thanks for reaching out. We truly appreciate your diligence in keeping your information safe. It’s important to know how to spot suspicious emails, especially in today’s digital landscape.

Sometimes, these emails can be tricky and aim to get your personal info. They can look authentic, but here are some things to watch for to check if an email is really from Intuit:

  • We’ll never ask for your personal info in an email.
  • Our emails will always come from an email address that ends with @intuit.com. This includes @e.intuit.com.
  • Any link we send you in an email will always be for an intuit.com address.

Check out our online security tips for more guidance on how to keep your data safe and our security notices for the latest updates on suspicious emails reported by other Intuit users.

If the email you received requests you to log in, provide personal information, or download anything, it’s likely a scam. Please don’t engage with such emails.

I also encourage you to visit our Online Security Center page for deeper insights into how we protect your data and tips for avoiding email scams. There, you can report any suspicious emails you've encountered by selecting Go to security.

For more detailed information, see this article: Identify suspicious activity, phishing scams, and potential fraud.

We’re always here to help. Feel free to reply to this thread if you have any more questions or concerns. Your security is our top priority, Taylor. Let’s keep your information safe together. Take care and stay secure!

@jeanbiverly_   Apparently you haven't heard of PHISHING.   Phishing emails will end the EXACT same way.  I have received them for YEARSSSS.  STOP telling customers different and do some research.

@TaylorHeating  QB won't give you a heads up that there is an issue with your account, or that it is "being turned off".  They just lock you out.   You are correct that this is SPAM/ Fraud.
