I have 2 businesses in QBO and each one has a different Capital One credit card. When I download transactions in 1 account, it disconnects the Captial One card in the other. So when downloading, I always have to reconnect in one of my accounts.
Is there a way around this? Is this a Capital One issue? It seems odd to not be able to download 2 different cards in 2 different QB accounts and have to reconnect every time.
Thank you
I can help you get your latest transactions from your Capital One account, jmikewhittington.
Beforehand, may I know if there are any specific errors received before downloading your entries? Are these credit cards a subaccount under a parent account? Any additional information would be much appreciated.
In QuickBooks, if two different banking accounts are connected to each of your businesses and have the same login information, the other credit card account will be disconnected, and vice versa.
To prevent this, note that you can only connect one bank account in QBO and manually upload transactions for the other one.
However, if this isn't the case, I suggest reaching out to your bank's website and checking for any pending alerts or notifications. Also, please verify if your financial institution allows multiple connections to different businesses.
Once everything comes in handy, you can start categorizing your transactions to help you manage bank entries. Additionally, feel free to check our QuickBooks Live Expert Assisted that can help streamline your business workflow and review your overall tasks.

Thank you for the reply.
I do have the same login for both Capital One cards so I assume you must be correct and the other credit card account will be disconnected, and vice versa.
I will just have to continue to reconnect each time.
Thank you again.
