credit card syncing

I have the same issue. One of the cards linked to my QB just stopped syncing. I called the bank, I followed their instructions, then I spoke with a QB support, which was completely unhelpful and sounded like that person didn't know even basic things. I asked to speak to higher level of support and was promised a call back, which I never received. It's been two weeks and repeated attempts to reconnect the credit card. I use the right credentials and the process, but it just won't connect! Any help would be appreciated

credit card syncing

Hi arieli,

Thank you for your reply. I did speak with a QBO rep, but she was not helpful at all. I am familiar with the credit card connection process since I've done it several times. I have other credit cards that are syncing fine (chase bank and a union bank). The credit card that's not syncing is a city bank / costco card. I also went on their website and added the QBO as an allowed app. The issue seems to be on the QB side only.

I've attached a screen shot of the error message.

Please let me know what you suggest.

Thank you

Ensuring you're able to connect your financial account to QuickBooks is essential to keep you transaction data updated, @odedly. I'm here to provide additional recommendations to help fix the connection issue of your credit card account.

To begin, may I know if your Citi Bank credit card has changed its URL link? This might be the reason you're having trouble connecting it to your program. If not, I suggest accessing your QuickBooks account via an incognito browser and connecting your bank again. This will help you have a clean slate and avoid odd behaviors when using the web.

Also, we've received similar cases of the same error when connecting a Citi Bank credit card. To help our engineers come up with a solution and gather additional data, I recommend contacting our Customer Care support to add you to the affected users list.

Additionally, it's vital to make sure that your QuickBooks balance matches your actual bank balance by regularly performing the reconciliation process. This will help ensure all of your transactions data are accurate.

If you have other concerns about linking your credit card accounts in QuickBooks, just drop a comment below. I'll be here 24/7 to give a prompt response. Keep safe.

@odedly

Try opening your QBO account on any private/incognito browser. If the same error persists, you will need a workaround.

I opened QB in incognito mode and that did the trick! Thank you so much for the advise.
