How do I find transactions that I have linked from ELEO database to QBO and how do I make a bank deposit of those transactions?

We've linked transactions entered into ELEO to go into QBO. However when I go to QBO I can't find the transactions in order to make a bank deposit of what's entered. They appear as paid pledges in the individual account but I need to enter a bank deposit for them.

How do I find transactions that I have linked from ELEO database to QBO and how do I make a bank deposit of those transactions?

Let me help you find the ELEO bank transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO), hopealive.

If you connected ELEO as a bank account in QBO, the information we receive depends on what they share from us. We can go to the For Review tab to see the downloaded transactions. QuickBooks sends downloaded transactions to the For Review tab where we can review them one by one. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking menu.
  2. Select the tile for the account you want to review.
  3. Choose the For Review tab to start your review.

We also manually update your accounts any time to get the latest available transactions:

  1. Go to the Banking menu.
  2. Tap the Banking tab.
  3. Press Update.

We can also access the Audit log since it records all your financial transactions in your chart of accounts. We need to sign in as an admin to access the audit log. Let me show you how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon on the top menu.
  2. Select Audit Log.
  3. Tap Filter.
  4. Use the fields on the Filter panel to choose the appropriate UserDate, or Events filter to narrow the results.
  5. Press Apply.

Once you find the transactions, follow the steps and details in this article to make deposits: Record and make bank deposits in QuickBooks Online. If the same thing happens, it would be best to contact ELEO technical support for them to integrate the transactions into QBO again.

We can browse this link here if you need help with managing your bank feeds and reconciling accounts. It'll route you to our general bank topics with articles.

Feel free to update us after reviewing the entries. I want to make sure this is resolved and I'll be right here if you need further help. You have a good one.

The article was helpful.  I appreciate it.  I also need to know whether I should have a unique customer in Quickbbooks for every contact in Eleo or one customer in Quickbooks for all contacts in Eleo.  If I have only one customer and everything goes into that one account am I going to have to then go into that account in Quickbooks and enter the donation into the individual accounts?

Thanks for getting back in this thread, @hopealive. I'm here to provide information about your concern.

As per my colleague discussed above, the data reflects in QuickBooks Online (QBO), depends on what the integrated app share with the software. If you want to have unique customers in QBO for every contact from Eleo, you have the capability to import the donors from the app to QBO. For the instructions, you can visit this article: Import/Export.

To know more available features in Eleo, feel free to check this site: Features.

You may also browse through this article for videos and guides in assisting you with any of your QBO tasks: QuickBooks Online - Video tutorials. It includes different categories and topics for QBO.

You can always get back here if you have any other concerns about integrating Eleo to QBO. I'm just a few clicks away to help. Have a great week ahead.
