I know a way on how you can import transactions in your bank register inside QuickBooks Online.
To begin, you'll need to choose a start date. Also, you'll need to know the date of the account's oldest existing transaction. This way, you can avoid recording duplicate transactions.
Here's how you can do it:
- Select the Accounting menu and go to Chart of Accounts.
- Locate the bank or credit card account you want to upload the transactions into.
- Click on View register.
- Locate and enter the date if the oldest transaction. The opening balance is usually the oldest transaction.
After that, follow the steps 2 through 6 in this article: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online. This will make it easier for you to upload transactions manually.
